200+ Ethical & Sustainable Canada Fashion Brands | Ultimate List
I generally avoid shopping for clothing online at non-Canadian sites because the duty and customs fees can be ridiculously high. To spare you fellow Canucks the pain of spending more than the poor loonie can stretch, I've compiled a master list of fantastic ethical and sustainable Canada fashion brands and retailers. While these clothes are made in Canada or ethically produced abroad, not every brand uses biodegradable/sustainable fabrics, so please do your own research.
I'm happy to see that many Canadian clothing designers are focused on using natural fibres such as linen and organic cotton—machine washable! I also see a pattern in terms of design: feminine, comfortable, minimalist, reflective of our unfussy elegance.
