11 Best Clean Beauty Websites & Stores for All Your Green Beauty Needs
If you're looking for clean beauty products, there's no shortage of brands to choose from. Clean beauty is all about using products that are free from harsh chemicals, such as sulfates, parabens, and phthalates, and often contain ingredients that are sustainably sourced. While it's great that we have so many clean and green options these days, I've compiled this list of 11 clean beauty retail websites and stores that curate the best clean skincare, makeup, haircare, and other holistic wellness products on the market to make it easier for you to find what you need.
You'll also discover vegan and cruelty-free brands within these retail shops. Most use sustainable packaging and give back. The stores listed are based in the US, Canada, or both, although many also ship internationally. US and Canada Clean Beauty Stores
Detox Market — The retailer has both online and brick-and-mortar shops in the US and Canada. They curate the best of green beauty. Check out their subscription box to discover new clean beauty products each month. Read my post on my favorite products from Detox Market.
Sephora —The popular multinational retailer of personal care and beauty products does carry plenty of clean beauty brands, but you'll have to search for them. You can do this either by checking their subcategories (Clean Makeup, Clean Skincare, etc.), or search "Clean at Sephora," which will filter the products that are non-toxic and features their green sticker. They also have subcategories for vegan brands and black-owned brands.
Soko Glam — Soko Glam is a US-based retailer stocking the best of Korean skincare. Not every product is clean, but their clean skincare products have their own subcategory. They're easy to find because each product is labeled with round blue "Soko Glam Clean Beauty" label. They also label the vegan products with a green sticker.
Amazon — Love them or hate them, they do stock affordable green beauty products I wouldn't have known about otherwise, such as this Beauty by Earth organic tanning lotion. I'm also a big fan of the budget-friendly Tree of Life line of serums. If you want to limit shopping from Amazon, you can always buy from the companies directly.

Check out their beauty boxes to try new green beauty brands. I did back in the day when I began learning more about clean and nontoxic beauty products. You can read my old review of Petit Vour's monthly beauty box. They do ship to Canada and internationally with some limitations.
Target — Whenever I visit a Target in the States, I head to their beauty section because they have a surprisingly vast selection of affordable clean beauty products. Now they have a green "Target Clean" symbol to make it easier for consumers to find clean skincare and makeup products. Target does not ship internationally.
